The Siamese "Twins"

Ok, so they are not twins, they're not even sisters, but the only way I can tell them apart is that Mae-Ling has a half inch of white at the end of her tail. Su-Lyn's Tail is brown from base to tip.

A 5 week old Su-Lyn, and a 4 month old Mae-Ling, were delivered to my home by the family of Deborah DeMaere, of DreamQuest Rodent Ranch in Regina, Saskatchewan, on the morning of Friday, September 27,2002.

Look Ma, no points!
I have never had a Siamese ratlet this young, and I've never before seen a Siamese without it's points. What an awesome opportunity to be able to watch a buff-colored baby coat change so dramatically in the process of developing these dark smudges. Su-Lyn's points started to express themselves when she was 6 weeks old.

aka Chop Suey, Suey, Suzy Q
Born: Aug. 21, 2002
Seal-point Siamese Standard-coated Dumbo Doe
From the very start Su-Lyn has been an outgoing, well-socialized, friendly little girl. She is a true young lady
RIP Su-Lyn March 16,2004
Malignant cancer in abdomen
Mae-Ling Mae-Ling
aka Maple Bug, Smudge, bRAT!
Born: June 25,2002 (best guess)
Seal-point Siamese Standard-coated Dumbo Doe
From the very start Mae-Ling has been an outgoing, well-socialized, friendly little girl. She does, however, have a tendency to push the limit with the alpha girls and has to be reminded as to where she fits in with the colony
RIP Mae-Ling September 09,2004

Their bodies held in storage in the freezer, awaiting this day,
the Siamese Twins were cremated, their ashes mingled,
and returned to me, August 19,2005
